ANATOMICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL TERMINOLOGY IN THE AUSTRIAN EXPRESSIONIST LITERATURE

چکیده

Anatomical and physiological vocabulary is used in Expressionism for a range of specific artistic purposes. The paper identifies the situations, which such lexical units are analyzes purpose their application context Austrian Expressionist literature. Along with references to most important theoreticians experimentalists Expressionism, present research largely based on prose by Gustav Meyrink (1868-1932). demonstrated that human anatomy physiology Meyrink’s effectively implements intentions: (1) anti-aesthetic strategy revolt against classical canons beauty; (2) erosion frontiers between literary discourse non-textual reality; (3) designing atmosphere horror shocking burghers; (4) synaesthetic word-formation “condensation” images; (5) motif conflict father son; (6) development grotesque image City through techniques synecdoche hyperbole; (7) reconstruction divine component would unify people.
